Job Summary
As a Traffic Engineer, you will plan and coordinate transportation engineering projects, conduct traffic analyses, and prepare engineering reports and specifications. Responsibilities include supervising project teams, communicating with stakeholders, and managing project scopes and budgets. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's in Civil or Transportation Engineering, P.E. licensure, and 5+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Synchro, Excel, and OpenRoads Designer is essential, along with strong negotiation skills and an understanding of traffic engineering principles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in traffic engineering and/or traffic planning projects
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure required
- Experience in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and conducting transportation and traffic engineering work
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and techniques applicable to traffic engineering
- Excellent explanation, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Synchro, Excel, and OpenRoads Designer (ORD)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of HCS, SIDRA, VISSIM, ArcGIS, CUBE, and TransCAD
