Job Summary
Conduct traffic analyses, data gathering, and design for land development and infrastructure projects throughout New Jersey. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on traffic studies, corridor planning, feasibility studies, safety audits, intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing, and pavement marking plans. Obtain, analyze, and interpret demographic and regional transportation planning data while assisting in the preparation of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs. Serve as on-site project representative for DOT access permitting and signage projects. Requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, PE registration, and 5-10 years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration
- Experience preparing Traffic Impact Studies, Traffic Signal Plans and Electrical Plans in New Jersey
- Knowledge of CADD Software (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Driver's License
