Job Summary
Lead transportation engineering design projects (traffic signals, roadway lighting, signing, striping, temporary traffic control, ITS, and fiber optic communications) from concept through PS&E, with scope/schedule/budget oversight, earned value analysis, and staffing; collaborate in client meetings, resolve design issues, and coordinate with other disciplines while mentoring junior staff toward professional growth. Our ideal candidate holds a PE license, a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Transportation/Electrical Engineering (or related field), 6+ years in traffic engineering design, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Microstation; strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset are essential. The role supports ongoing professional development and may involve project management and business development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in traffic engineering design
- PE license
- basic understanding of AutoCAD and Microstation software
