Job Summary
Conduct traffic control and flagging around cities, construction sites, and major events. Design safe lane closures and traffic detours by physically setting up and removing devices such as barricades, pylons, signage, and digital messaging boards. Assist with outdoor installation projects including roadside signage, guardrails, and cable barriers. Install permanent and temporary traffic safety equipment, operate a TMA truck on high-speed roadways, and maintain company vehicles and rental equipment. Complete required documentation for delivery and returned gear. Full-time position in Ottawa, ON, with a wage range of $26.42/hour. Requires a valid Graduated Class G Driver's License and clean driving abstract. Own vehicle required for commute.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Graduated Class G Driver's License
- Clean 3-Year Regular Drivers Abstract
- Own vehicle to get to and from work
- Valid Traffic Control Person (Book 7) ticket
Desired Qualifications
- Class DZ license
- Approximately 1 year's progressive experience in the Traffic industry
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Previous experience operating one-ton flat-deck trucks
- Previous construction experience
- Hand/power tool proficiency
