Job Summary
Direct vehicular traffic in designated areas while providing attentive service to patients and guests. Issue valet parking tickets in compliance with mystery shop standards and uphold site management parking policies. Retrieve and deliver guest vehicles and luggage during arrival and departure, maintaining a professional demeanor and protecting guest confidentiality. Assist guests with directions, inquiries, and local information while collecting parking data and managing folio archives. Work Mon-Fri AM at a rate of $15/hour, standing or sitting for extended periods with occasional running.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience if no HS Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of traffic and valet procedures
- Must be able to read and write standard English language
- Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Must be able to write simple correspondence
- Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Must be able to drive manual transmission and perform parallel parking
- Must be available for Mon-Fri AM work schedule
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to run; walk; handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to balance
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
