Job Summary
Flagger/Traffic Controller responsible for closing roads with cones/barricades and ensuring safety of passing traffic. Handles two-way flagging, loads/unloads barricades and signs, completes reports, and supports traffic-control operations. Role requires outdoor work in all weather, availability for nights/weekends on on-call schedules, ability to lift 50lbs and stand 6-12 hours, and the ability to pass a drug test. Strong communication and team-orientation needed; independent work also expected. Training on the job with opportunities for rapid advancement; includes take-home truck incentive and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license for 3 years and a clear motor vehicle record
- Must be available during business hours and able to work nights/weekends when on-call
- Able to lift 50lbs and stand 6-12 hours per day
- Must be able to pass drug test that does include THC marijuana testing
- Must be able to work independently and in a team
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Two-way flagging experience with stop & slow signs for safety coordination
