Job Summary
Supervisory Traffic Control Tech III responsible for safety, quality, and efficiency of work and crew; reports to Traffic Control Supervisor and Crew Chief. Duties include following written and verbal instructions, maintaining and repairing arrow boards and message boards, loading/unloading materials, ensuring compliance with Texas DOT regulations, reading maps and locating job sites, maintaining positive attitude, adjusting to changing tasks, and working extended hours including nights and weekends; requires valid Texas driver’s license, ATSSA or TEEX certifications, and 2 years of traffic control experience; physical responsibilities include lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors in varied conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas driver’s license in good standing
- No at fault accidents or driving violations in the past 3 years
- Successful completion of ATSSA Traffic Control Technician and Traffic Control Supervisor Course OR TEEX Work Zone Traffic Control and Work Zone Responsible Person
- Must be at least 21 Years of Age
- Two (2) years of Traffic Control experience
