Job Summary
Load, unload, and move building materials such as signs, cones, and barricades to on-site locations. Assist in the physical installation of products by digging postholes, operating jackhammers to install bases, and assembling traffic control devices. Distribute signs and markers in designated patterns and act as a flagger to stop or direct traffic flow safely around the work crew. This entry-level role requires manual labor in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme heat. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, basic tool proficiency with power tools, and the ability to interpret project maps and blueprints. Full-time hours range from 40 to 60 weeks, with potential for weekend work and statewide travel. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- A valid and clean driver's license
- Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for long periods, including lifting, carrying, and pushing materials weighing up to 50–90 lbs
- Skill in using hand and power tools such as drills, saws, pneumatic post drivers, and jackhammers
- Dexterity to load/unload materials safely
- Constant alertness to moving traffic and mechanical equipment
- Basic ability to read and follow project maps, blueprints, or technical instructions
- Clear verbal communication
- Reliability & Punctuality
- The ability to take direction from a Foreman and work collaboratively in high-pressure environments
- Comfortable staying overnight when necessary
- Statewide travel (1–5 days per week)
