Job Summary
Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones while directing traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients. Work as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites across the eastern United States. Control traffic using appropriate equipment and communication devices in active work zones. Availability is Monday through Friday, with shifts starting as early as 6 AM and running into the late afternoon. Physical requirements include standing for 8–12 hours, walking 1–2 miles daily, and lifting up to 50 lbs in various outdoor conditions. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, as ride-sharing or drop-offs are not permitted.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Employees must be able to drive themselves to and from job sites
- Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements
- Verified through a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Review
- Availability Monday–Friday (as early as 6AM – late afternoon)
- Physical endurance – Ability to stand for 8-12 hours
- Ability to walk 1-2 miles per day
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability
- Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6′′ in height
- Approved two-way radios
