Job Summary
Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones while controlling traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients. Work as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites, guiding traffic safely using appropriate equipment and communication. Gain hands-on experience in the traffic control industry while contributing directly to public safety and infrastructure development across the eastern United States. Monday–Friday availability from 6AM to late afternoon is required, with physical demands including standing 8–12 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Employees must be able to drive themselves to and from job sites
- Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements
- Verified through a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Review
- Availability Monday–Friday (as early as 6AM – late afternoon)
- Physical endurance – Ability to stand for 8-12 hours
- Ability to walk 1-2 miles per day
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability
- Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6′′ in height
- Approved two-way radios
