Job Summary
Set up and maintain safe, compliant work zones while controlling traffic flow to ensure public safety. Support crew leaders with setup, client communication, and field reporting, and mentor new crew members to drive site efficiency. This experienced flagger role requires availability Monday through Friday from 6 AM to late afternoon, with physical demands including standing for 8–12 hours, walking 1–2 miles daily, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Candidates must hold an approved Traffic Control Flagging Certification, a valid driver's license, and a satisfactory driving record. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle required
- Employees must be able to drive themselves to and from job sites (ride-sharing or drop-offs not permitted)
- Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements
- Verified through a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
- Approved Traffic Control Flagging Certification (ATSSA, State Certificate, etc.)
- Availability Monday–Friday (as early as 6AM – late afternoon)
- Physical endurance – Ability to stand for 8-12 hours, walk 1-2 miles per day, lift up to 30-50 lbs, and work outdoors in various conditions
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability
- Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6′′ in height
- Approved two-way radios
