Job Summary
Set up and maintain safe, compliant work zones while controlling traffic flow to ensure public safety. Support crew leaders with setup, client communication, and field reporting, and mentor new crew members to drive site efficiency. This role requires standing for 8-12 hours, walking 1-2 miles daily, and lifting up to 50 lbs in various outdoor conditions. You must hold an Approved Traffic Control Flagging Certification, possess a valid driver's license, and be available Monday through Friday from early morning to late afternoon. Flagger Force prioritizes experienced hires for rapid advancement into leadership positions like Crew Leader and Area Supervisor, offering paid training, a promotional bonus, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to drive themselves to and from job sites
- Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements
- Approved Traffic Control Flagging Certification (ATSSA, State Certificate, etc.)
- Availability Monday–Friday (as early as 6AM – late afternoon)
- Physical endurance – Ability to stand for 8-12 hours
- Ability to walk 1-2 miles per day
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability
- Ability to obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6′′ in height
- Ability to obtain Approved two-way radios
