Job Summary
Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones while guiding traffic safely through active construction areas. Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients, working as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites. Gain hands-on experience in the traffic control industry by assisting Crew Leaders in maintaining work zones across the eastern United States. This role requires availability Monday through Friday, with shifts starting as early as 6 AM and extending into late afternoon. Candidates must possess physical endurance for standing 8–12 hours, walking 1–2 miles daily, and lifting up to 50 lbs in various outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Employees must be able to drive themselves to and from job sites
- Satisfactory driving record
- Availability Monday–Friday
- Physical endurance – Ability to stand for 8-12 hours
- Ability to walk 1-2 miles per day
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability
- Ability to Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6′′ in height
- Ability to use Approved two-way radios
