Job Summary
Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones while directing traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients on active job sites. Work as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency, utilizing appropriate equipment and communication tools. Gain hands-on experience in the traffic control industry by guiding traffic safely through work zones across the eastern United States. This essential role directly contributes to public safety and infrastructure development, offering advancement into leadership positions such as Crew Leader or Area Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to drive themselves to and from job sites
- Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements
- Availability Monday–Friday (as early as 6AM – late afternoon)
- Physical endurance – Ability to stand for 8-12 hours
- Ability to walk 1-2 miles per day
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability
- Ability to Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6′′ in height
- Ability to use Approved two-way radios
