Job Summary
Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones, controlling traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients. Work as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites while guiding traffic through active work zones using appropriate equipment and communication. Dispatched directly from home to job sites, the role requires availability Monday through Friday from 6 AM to late afternoon, with physical endurance to stand 8–12 hours and walk 1–2 miles daily. You must hold a valid driver's license, maintain a satisfactory driving record, and possess a reliable personal vehicle, as ride-sharing or drop-offs are not permitted.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to drive themselves to and from job sites
- Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements
- Availability Monday–Friday (as early as 6AM – late afternoon)
- Physical endurance – Ability to stand for 8-12 hours
- Ability to walk 1-2 miles per day
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability
- Ability to obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6′′ in height
- Ability to obtain Approved two-way radios
