Job Summary
Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones while guiding traffic safely through active zones using appropriate equipment. Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients by working as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites. Gain hands-on experience in the traffic control industry while supporting infrastructure development across the eastern United States. This essential role requires availability Monday through Friday, with the ability to stand for 8-12 hours and drive a personal vehicle to sites.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to drive themselves to and from job sites
- Satisfactory driving record
- Availability Monday–Friday
- Physical endurance – Ability to stand for 8-12 hours
- Ability to walk 1-2 miles per day
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability
- Ability to obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6′′ in height
- Ability to obtain Approved two-way radios
