Job Summary
Set up cones, signs, and barricades while guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle and monitoring job site activity. Follow all safety rules, communicate with your crew and supervisor, and keep vehicles and equipment clean. Work outside year-round in all weather, standing or walking 8 to 12 hours per shift, and lift 40–50 pounds. You must hold a valid driver's license, pass a drug test, and be willing to work nights, weekends, or during emergencies. AWP Safety provides training, safety gear, and a traffic safety certificate; eligible employees receive health insurance, PTO, and 401(k) options.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods
- Able to lift 40–50 pounds
- Willing to work in traffic and changing weather
- Flexible schedule; Show up on time, every shift
- Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test (this is a safety sensitive job)
