Job Summary
Traffic Control Flagger position with AWP Safety involves setting up cones, signs, and barricades, using a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic, and maintaining safety at outdoor job sites. Responsibilities include communicating with the crew and supervisor, keeping vehicles and equipment clean and safe, and working outside in all weather. Training is provided, with paid training, a traffic safety certificate, and advancement opportunities to Senior Protector, Lead Protector, Field Supervisor, or Manager. Requires a valid driver’s license, ability to stand/walk for long periods, ability to lift 40–50 pounds, and willingness to work in traffic and changing conditions. Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work; pre-hire drug screen is required.
