Job Summary
Direct traffic on job sites using a stop/slow paddle, set up cones, signs, and barricades, and disassemble equipment. Communicate with crew and supervisor; work outdoors year-round in various weather; stand or walk 8–12 hours per shift; receive safety training, PPE, and a traffic-safety certificate. Training is provided; the role involves lifting 40–50 pounds, staying alert around moving traffic, and complying with safety rules. Opportunities for overtime, paid training, and growth to Senior Protector/Lead Protector/Field Supervisor roles.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test
- Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods
