Job Summary
Review Traffic and Transit Management Plans and coordinate obligations regarding vehicular and pedestrian mobility within construction limits. Engage with internal teams and subcontractors to adjust staging strategies, escalate roadblocks, and monitor Line Painting implementation. Coordinate development and submission of traffic control, transit, and emergency access plans to authorities, while administering design services contracts including invoice approvals and change orders. Communicate lane closures and detours to stakeholders and participate in biweekly management and community liaison meetings. Maintain project schedules and attend coordination meetings with design and construction teams. Requires a valid G class driver's license, GBC certification, and 2+ years in construction traffic management.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education
- Valid G class driver's license
- Regular access to a personal vehicle
- Ability to effectively communicate with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to identify problems or issues and generate solutions, resolve conflicts, and make sound decisions
- Addresses issues promptly, bringing proactiveness and a sense of urgency in closing issues

Desired Qualifications
- Up to 2 years of experience in the Construction industry with specific reference to Traffic Management
- Experience in heavy civil, rail, and/or tunnel projects
- Knowledge of Engineering software such as Bluebeam/AutoCAD
- Book 7 Certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
