Job Summary
Ensure appropriate car volume and parking order while maintaining lot cleanliness and uniform appearance. Control traffic at entrances and exits, assist customers with questions, and report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or debris to Facility or Senior Manager. Communicate water, oil spills, and other incidents immediately. Maintain knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways. Perform duties on scheduled days, on time, adhering to shift requirements that may include second or third shifts and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid state-issued driver's license, with a current address and acceptable driving record
- Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company
- Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to stand
- Ability to walk
- Ability to use hands to handle cash and equipment
- Ability to sit
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Neat and clean appearance
- Complete uniform
