Job Summary
Monitor parking facilities, enforce regulations, and direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure safe flow during events. Dynamically adjust traffic patterns based on congestion while coordinating with Security, Guest Services, Event Operations, Police, and Fire/EMS. Respond to incidents, accidents, and inquiries; set up, move, and remove traffic control devices before, during, and after events. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation; manage VIP, team bus, and overflow parking operations. Work flexible evening and weekend shifts in high-energy environments, requiring standing, walking, and quick response to emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of traffic laws and parking regulations on public and private roadways
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff, guests, vendors, and law enforcement
- Physical ability to respond quickly in emergency situations, direct traffic, and assist with operational tasks as needed
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise levels and high-energy event environments
- Work in varying temperature conditions - including outdoor environments in Arizona heat - during events at AAG; work may continue during adverse weather conditions
- Requires extended periods of standing, walking, and active "Grounds" presence; sitting for long periods is not typical of this role
- Flexible schedule including evenings, most weekends, holidays, and extended event schedules
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in traffic control, parking enforcement, security, or public safety
- Experience supporting large sports venues, entertainment venues, airports, universities or municipal traffic operations
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
