Job Summary
Provide leadership and oversight for daily operations, staff, and youth programs serving grades 1–12 at the Yankton Traditional Club. Plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality youth development programs while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment through strict compliance with safety standards and staffing ratios. Lead, supervise, and coach full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff; develop schedules to cover all operational needs including school breaks and snow days. Monitor program quality and member participation using data to drive continuous improvement and respond to family concerns. Build relationships with schools, community partners, and families to support recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives. Complete administrative reporting and documentation to meet organizational and funding requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Prior supervisory or management experience
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on the operational needs of the Club
- Weekend work is rare and generally limited to special events or organizational activities
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to operate standard office equipment (computer, copier, phone, etc.)
- This position is considered safety-sensitive
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, youth development, social work, or a related field is preferred
