Job Summary
Deliver a 10-session after-school Traditional Art course for K-12 students, one hour per week, on-site at a partner school. Teach traditional visual art techniques (drawing, painting, mixed media) through hands-on projects, adapting pacing to student needs, differentiating instruction, and maintaining a safe, inclusive studio environment. Communicate with site staff regarding attendance and session completion, provide age-appropriate guidance and feedback, and help students develop original work and reflect on their progress. Qualifications include at least 60 college credits (or an Associate degree in progress/completed) and experience with youth programs and school-age learners. The role requires facilitating engaging instruction, managing materials, and upholding school policies across a rolling 10-week cycle.
