Job Summary
Assist residents with meal selection, including ordering from menus, buffet stations, and a la carte items. Present menus, answer questions, and relay orders to the kitchen while ensuring safety in dining areas. Clear, clean, and reset tables for subsequent services, and perform assigned light back-of-house duties such as serving salads, soups, or coffee. Requires at least 16 years of age, previous server experience, and proficiency with POS systems. Full-time and part-time shifts available weekdays and weekends at $14.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Previous server experience
- 6 months or more in long term care, home care or related field
- Software experience using POS (point-of-sale) transactional systems
- Effective English verbal and written communication skills
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to complete other pre-employment screenings such as physical, fingerprint, and TB test as required by state/local guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Previous server experience highly preferred
- 6 months or more in long term care, home care or related field preferred
