Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable trading systems; monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation; collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and performance; develop and implement automation tools to streamline operations; ensure security and compliance standards are met; provide technical support and guidance to other teams.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role
- Strong understanding of system architecture and cloud technologies
- Proficiency in C++ development, with additional knowledge of Python or C#
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Commercially oriented mindset with a focus on business outcomes
- Experience working on the buy side is a significant positive
- Experience with low latency order entry or market data systems is highly desirable
- Prior experience in the finance industry is preferred but not required
