Job Summary
Senior Trading Systems Engineer to develop and operate a high-performance, low-latency trading platform. Responsibilities include building and maintaining integrations with multiple trading venues, profiling and optimizing system performance, developing core platform components (execution, order management, configuration frameworks), and supporting live trading systems with improved observability and reliability. Collaboration with traders and quantitative researchers to translate requirements into robust production systems. Desirable experience includes digital asset trading, Python tooling, dynamic configuration, and HF trading.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in systems programming with a focus on performance and concurrency
- Background in building latency-sensitive backend systems, ideally within trading or similarly demanding environments
- Experience integrating with trading venues, including order management and market data handling
- Proven ability to profile, benchmark, and optimise system performance
- Comfortable working closely with domain experts to deliver production-ready solutions
- Desirable: Experience with digital asset or decentralised trading environments
- Desirable: Familiarity with Python or similar languages for tooling and prototyping
- Desirable: Understanding of dynamic configuration systems for live environments
- Desirable: Background in high-frequency trading or market making
