Job Summary
Diagnose root causes of critical incidents, minimize operational impact, and lead post-mortem analyses to prevent future occurrences. Ensure smooth functioning of distributed, multi-server trading systems by collaborating with Operations and Development teams to resolve complex production challenges. Serve as the primary resource for traders on the trade floor, offering direct application assistance while overseeing User Acceptance Testing and managing production software releases. Design monitoring and logging solutions to enhance system reliability, automate workflows through scripting, and drive continuous process improvement. Participate in occasional after-hours support as necessary. Join the global Infrastructure and Technology Service team at a leading HFT and market maker in Hong Kong.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in trading support or a comparable technical role
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in SQL
- Proficiency in Linux environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to excel in a fast-paced trading environment
