Job Summary
Trading Services Specialist Senior Associate Loan Documentation responsible for secondary trade closing support for loans, claims, equity, bonds and other non-standard assets within Wholesale Lending Services. Drafts and verifies trading documentation per LMA standards, collaborates with front office traders, sales coverage, clients, counsel, and operations to settle trades, maintains a clean aging profile, reviews LMA and other deal documents (including assignment, proceeds letters, participation, cash collateral, and multilateral agreements), assesses credit agreements for assignability, escalates issues to stakeholders, and prepares weekly risk/status reports. Requires extensive knowledge of LMA documents, trade lifecycle, loan-based software (LoanIQ, ClearPar), and strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to take initiative and self-motivate as well as work as part of a team
- Extensive knowledge of loan-based software (LoanIQ, ClearPar)
- Extensive experience with LMA standard documentation
- Extensive knowledge of the LMA Standard Terms & Conditions
- Extensive knowledge of the trade lifecycle and/or experience supporting a trading business
- Extensive knowledge with loans, claims, equity, bonds and other non-standard assets
