Job Summary
Trading Services Middle Office - Analyst supporting Securitized Products Group in APAC (Hong Kong, China, India, Korea, Australia). You will manage loan data, support exposure management between origination and credit, coordinate KYC processes, bookings in securities and loan systems, and oversee vendor invoicing and billing. You will submit and track sales credit, collaborate on project initiatives, and act as a technology requirements liaison while driving process improvements and risk controls across the trade lifecycle. Strong Excel skills and comfort with cross-functional collaboration, plus familiarity with loan booking systems (e.g., LoanIQ) and automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath). Mandarin and Cantonese proficiency is advantageous for Asia-based and Chinese clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience in operations, change/project management, or a related field
- Proactive, self-directed and strong initiative to navigate complexity and change in a global bank
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams
- Possess a strong client-focus and teamwork mindset; proactive, self-directed, and composed under pressure
- Think like an owner, analytical problem solver and is able to spot issues early, escalates promptly, evaluates risk implications, and implements practical control fixes
- Strong risk and control focus with meticulous attention to detail
- Curious and fast learner on new technologies and evolving processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including building, reviewing, and auditing complex calculations for deals and loans
- Preferred qualifications include experience in securitization and highly structured deals
- Experience with loan booking systems such as LoanIQ
- Experience with intelligent automation tools such as Alteryx or UiPath
- Knowledge of coding languages such as Python or VBA
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin and Cantonese to support Asia-based and Chinese clients
