Job Summary
Join the Prime Finance Trading Services Team as a Trade Support Senior Associate. Responsibilities include ensuring that all trades are entered accurately into Risk Management systems; managing daily Equity Swap/derivative trade life cycle events (expiries, dividends, corporate actions, etc.); verifying, clearing and escalating trade capture/reporting exceptions; liaising with Front, Middle and Back Office teams on Cash Equity trades; driving continuous improvement of pre/post-trade controls; maximizing straight-through processing through root-cause analysis; producing analysis for trading desks and senior management; and contributing input into core projects including regulatory, trading strategy, and operational programs.
Required Qualifications
- Strong security and derivative products knowledge
- Operational experience
- Understanding of Equity Swaps, Cash Equities, Derivative products
- Experience in supporting Trading Desks in Prime/Hedge Fund business
- Familiarity with risk management systems
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Confidence to communicate with senior managers effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to different business needs
