Job Summary
Coordinate compliance for gas, crude and products trading; develop and maintain compliance plans, policies and procedures; monitor adherence to regulations and changes in rules; review new transactions and products and assess regulatory impact; implement monitoring and surveillance techniques; ensure documentation and testing of reporting specifications; manage counterparty and broker selection processes; prepare and submit regulatory reports; keep abreast of upcoming rules and directives and facilitate required changes; leverage risk management tools and regulatory reporting knowledge to support energy commodities trading operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business administration with a focus on information systems, accounting or finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk compliance in energy commodities
- Compliance experience in futures, financial and physical commodities trading
- Working knowledge of commodity regulations/reporting
- Experience with risk management tools with emphasis on commodities regulatory environment is desired
- Knowledge or experience with SAP or other reporting tools a plus but not required
- Excellent leadership ability and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
