Job Summary
Facilitate and execute operational components of growth-oriented equity derivatives asset management by interacting with senior leadership, client portfolio managers, and traders. Support trading and portfolio managers in the implementation and settlement of listed option transactions while collaborating with analysts, compliance officers, and technology partners. Prepare periodic analyses and presentations for sales personnel, address sales and implementation questions, and maintain standardized record keeping in compliance with evolving legal and regulatory requirements. Perform daily reconciliation, quarterly and on-demand performance reporting, and security simulation analysis to ensure accurate books and records. Work onsite in Stamford, Connecticut, five days a week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-4 years of experience in wealth management client service, trading, trade settlement, reconciliation, and trade break resolution
- FINRA Series 65 or 66 license or willing to obtain within 120 days of hire
- Knowledge of wealth management operations practices
- Proficiency in using Bloomberg and various order management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Proactive and resourceful with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, growth environment
- Familiarity with a wide range of concepts, practices, and procedures in financial services
- Experience in equity/index options
- Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Onsite work in Stamford, Connecticut office five days a week
Desired Qualifications
- Finance/economics/accounting preferred
- Experience with custodians and clearing firms
