Job Summary
Record trades across various terms and products in the booking system while analyzing deal flow and collaborating with settlement teams to assess liquidated damages. Monitor portfolio strategies, provide performance metrics reports to managers, and manage multiple client portfolios in real time. Coordinate resource scheduling to meet system obligations and identify process improvements by updating documentation. This multi-month internship with the Jacksonville trading team offers hands-on experience in North American Power and Gas markets, including participation in client engagement activities and reporting efforts. Successful candidates gain exposure to real-time data feeds and have a clear career trajectory toward full-time scheduling and portfolio management roles.
Required Qualifications
- Currently working towards a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, business, engineering, finance, economics, math, statistics, or a related field
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on Excel
- Must be able to commit up to a year towards the internship program
- Students local to the Jacksonville area and surrounding colleges
