Job Summary
Trading Fee Analyst role focused on validating exchange rebate invoices, resolving discrepancies with exchanges/brokers, ensuring proper coding and payment reconciliations with Accounts Payable, and analyzing fee trends and rebate programs. The position involves collaborating with Accounting, Operations, and Front Office, owning accrual reconciliation, and acting as SME for exchange rebate programs across multiple markets. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7-10+ years of experience in trading-related settings, with advanced Excel and familiarity with back-office accounting processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 7-10+ years of experience in trading firms, prime brokerage, hedge funds, or other similar asset management firms preferred
- Strong organization skills and detail orientation, with ability to prioritize, multitask and effectively
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills; demonstrated ability to identify issues, assess options, and implement solutions
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, index/match, dashboards)
- Familiarity with accounting processes (AP, GL, month-end close) and internal control frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proven ability to work with cross-functional teams (AP, Accounting, Operations, Front Office)
