Trading Assistant – Delta One Structured Products , Manager , Institutional Equity Division

Job Summary
Provide day-to-day trading assistant coverage to the Delta One Structured Products desk, partnering with onshore Trading and key regional stakeholders. Support execution workflows including trade capture/booking, amendments, cancellations, and timely escalation of breaks. Perform position, P&L, and risk checks; investigate daily move drivers and resolve issues in close coordination with the desk. Manage trade lifecycle events for swaps, including resets, rebalances, and rolls. Own corporate action and dividend processing, ensuring timely desk/risk updates for paying events. Conduct reconciliations across front office systems, downstream platforms, and internal reports; identify, investigate, and escalate outliers. Coordinate with external brokers, Operations, Product Control/Finance, Technology, Risk, and Compliance to maintain strong controls and meet regulatory requirements. Drive process improvement and automation to reduce manual effort and enhance controls.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of equity markets and Delta One products, and their trade lifecycle (resets, dividends, corporate actions and rolls)
- Experience supporting front office trading workflows: booking accuracy, amendments/cancellations and break resolution
- Sound control mindset with high attention to detail and awareness of operational risk
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Trading, Product Control, Operations, Technology, Risk and Compliance
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under time pressure in a fast-paced trading environment
- Advanced Excel skills
