Job Summary
Trading Analyst at Sportradar responsible for daily operation of the Managed Trading Service, real-time monitoring of betting activity and risk management of client liabilities, analyzing betting data to support insights and reporting, and collaborating to improve betting performance. Requires strong knowledge of betting markets/odds structures, proficiency in Excel/SQL for odds analysis, ability to communicate effectively, and readiness to operate in a fast-moving trading environment. The role emphasizes responding to live market information, handling operator queries, delivering management-ready reports, and contributing to tool and feature improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong familiarity with a wide range of sports, especially those popular in UK, European, and US betting markets
- Extensive knowledge of betting markets, odds structures, and risk management of core betting sports (UK, European and US)
- In-depth understanding of odds correlation between betting markets
- Exceptional mathematical skills, with proficiency in Excel or SQL for odds analysis
- Experience working in a similar role within sports or betting industry would be advantageous
- Dependable decision-making skills under time pressure in a trading environment
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Experience using data visualization tools
- Ability to take immediate action in a fast-moving trading environment
- An initiative-taking team player, able to work with new teams
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Flexibility to work with shift-based patterns
