Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repairs across hotel facilities, including interior/exterior building components, hotel rooms and contents, laundry and kitchen/refrigeration equipment, lighting, HVAC, ventilation, water treatment systems, and swimming pool if applicable; ensure equipment is prepared and operational for the following day; comply with safety regulations, brand standards, and local policies; report unsafe conditions; may educate hotel staff on safe equipment use; safeguard inventory and assets, replenish supplies, and minimize waste; respond promptly to guest questions and requests to maintain high guest satisfaction; may perform additional maintenance duties and assist other departments; teamwork and coordination with other departments essential; may require nights, weekends, and/or holidays; hourly pay rate is $24.12 with a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced vocational training plus two years of experience in general building maintenance or construction, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional certification and license if required by law
- Carrying, lifting, pushing and/or pulling items weighing up to 100-300 pounds
- Specialized knowledge and skills or certification within a field or discipline such as plumbing, electrician, carpentry, equipment mechanics, HVAC, refrigeration, etc.
