Job Summary
Lead and oversee a skilled electricians team at Kanowna Belle Operation, providing hands-on daily leadership to coordinate and supervise safe and efficient maintenance, upgrades, and urgent breakdown repairs on fixed plant equipment (mills, crushers, conveyors, pumps, HV/LV systems). Ensure work aligns with schedule, scope, and quality standards; record job information during execution and restore equipment to Fit-For-Use. Escalate issues to Electrical Supervisor, raise Work Requests with detailed scoping, and initiate CI Work Requests for maintenance plan improvements. Demonstrate proactive safety compliance with WHS Act 2020 and Mines Regulations 2022; communicate effectively across the organization and contribute to a culture aligned with Kanowna Belle vision.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current Western Australian A Grade Electrical licence
- Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence
- Low Voltage Rescue UETTDRRF06
- Provide CPR HLTAID009
- Statutory Supervisor (S26)
- Desirable qualifications: Enter & Work in Confined Spaces RIWHS202, HRWL - EWP [WP], Forklift [LF], Rigging Basic [RB], Provide First Aid HLTAID011, Work Safely at Heights RIWHS204 & High Voltage Switching Operations Certificate
