Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repairs of heating, air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, and painting tasks across assigned facilities. Execute skilled work including framing, ductwork installation, tool maintenance, and clerical duties like preparing cost estimates and completing work orders. Operate under direct supervision while deciding how and when to complete tasks, adhering to safety standards for hazards such as heights, chemicals, and moving mechanical parts. This role involves heavy physical exertion, including lifting over 50 pounds, and requires willingness to work non-standard and overtime hours. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and four years of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Four years of related experience
- High School Diploma or GED and the equivalent of one year of specialized vocational training
- Must have a valid state driver's license and meet minimum driving standards
- The employee must be willing to work non-standard and overtime hours as required
- This position requires very heavy physical exertion including the ability to lift over 50 pounds and exert over 100 pounds of force on a regular basis
- The employee must be able to use hands to operate and manipulate tools and equipment
- This position requires normal visual acuity and field of vision, hearing, and depth perception
- All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of background screening, drug testing, and driving record review where applicable
