Job Summary
Lead and motivate a team of trade employees and subcontractors while coordinating day-to-day facilities maintenance work across Christchurch. Plan jobs, resources, and staffing to meet client and contract requirements, providing technical support and practical guidance to the team. Monitor job progress, quality, health and safety, timelines, and costs, and build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors. Support quoting, materials, work orders, and job documentation to help achieve strong contract outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant trade qualification in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, maintenance or a related trade
- Experience in facilities management, contracting, construction or maintenance
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, support and motivate others
- Sound knowledge of health and safety, quality and compliance requirements
- Excellent planning, problem-solving and communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and job management systems
- A full, clean New Zealand driver licence
- Legal right to work in Aotearoa
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Willingness to consent to a Criminal Record Check
- Must complete a medical assessment
- Must provide two references
- Must consent to a Criminal Record Check
