Job Summary
Provide support to operations and maintenance at a government research facility, working alongside higher-level tradesmen or independently on maintenance tasks across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building repairs; perform inspections, organize and deliver tools, and operate assigned equipment; requires ability to perform physical tasks, use PPE, and work in/around containment areas (BSL-3) with potential exposure to restricted species and biocontainment protocols.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- General experience in applicable crafts such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting
- Operate forklifts, tractors, mowers, light and medium weight trucks
