Job Summary
Assist with the installation, testing, maintenance, and record keeping of mechanical equipment. Undertake routine daily workplace, machinery/equipment inspections and pre-starts at areas of responsibility. Complete daily PM tasks, record equipment history, and use the safety database to complete training and LMS procedures. Conduct risk assessments and workplace inspections to identify hazards, implement control measures using Step-backs and JSEA, and actively participate in OHSE discussions at Pre-start and Safety meetings. Report incidents and near miss events. Perform basic dewatering generator maintenance, including pipelines, flow meters, and refueling, as well as shutdown preparation. Requires a current "C" Class Manual Western Australian driver's licence and experience in gold or heavy industry environments. Full-time permanent position at Beta Hunt site in Kambalda with an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.
Required Qualifications
- Current "C" Class Manual Western Australian driver's licence
- Work experience in gold, heavy industry, mineral processing environment or equivalent
- Valid Australian national police clearance
- Australian driver's licence (or be able to obtain)
