Job Summary
Trades Assistant to support Lineage’s Facilities & Engineering team across Brisbane sites. Assist tradespeople with maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment, respond to breakdowns to restore operations, support preventative maintenance to reduce downtime, perform basic repair tasks, and work across warehouse facilities. Maintain a clean, safe workshop, report faults, and contribute to continuous improvement. Requires 1–2 years of hands-on experience, Valid Driver’s Licence, Forklift Licence, and EWP/Boom Licence. Looking for someone with experience in mechanical/electrical environments, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a safety-first, team-oriented approach.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years’ experience in a similar hands-on role
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Forklift Licence (required)
- EWP / Boom Licence (required)
- Experience using power tools or in mechanical/electrical environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Safety-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently or in a team
