Job Summary
Manage and maintain litigation and policing client/matter files, prepare complaints, notices of opposition, petitions for cancellation, answers, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, deposition notices, declarations, motion-related documents, proposed orders, exhibit appendices, and correspondence. E-file in federal and state courts and USPTO proceedings; perform factual and legal cite checking; prepare materials for hearings, depositions, arbitration, and trial; coordinate with external vendors; maintain physical and electronic files; review correspondence and docket updates; assist with meeting deadlines and daily timekeeping for billing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program
- 4-7 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a law firm setting including federal district court civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of federal court rules and procedures
- Experience with document management, records management, docket management, research tools, and PACER
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
