Job Summary
Lead and develop the Trade & Working Capital Team in Frankfurt, overseeing trade finance operations (guarantees, SBLCs, letters of credit), regulatory reporting, and client inquiries. Drive process improvements, maintain compliance and high client satisfaction, collaborate with front/back office and stakeholders, and support staff development. Requires leadership experience, bilingual proficiency in German and English, deep knowledge of trade finance practices (UCP600, ISP98, German law), and strong organizational and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in German and English (spoken and written)
- In-depth understanding of trade finance operations, current market practices, UCP600, ISP98, German Federal Code/Law, and regulatory issues
- Strong experience in trade finance processing
- Demonstrated team leadership and people management skills
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain a network of contacts locally and internationally
- Ability to work under pressure with tight schedules in a high-risk environment
- Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
