Job Summary
Intermediate-level Trade Support Specialist responsible for monitoring trade flows, troubleshooting discrepancies with brokers, custodians, and counterparties; maintaining and improving trade support processes to mitigate risk; providing training to junior team members; analyzing trade data to monitor activity and identify trends; staying updated on industry trends and regulatory changes; supporting trade execution, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation; participating in testing and implementation of trading systems; collaborating with traders, portfolio managers, IT, and operations to enhance operational efficiency and drive risk-aware decision making.
Required Qualifications
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s/University degree
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes (capture, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with trade data analysis and reporting
- Ability to monitor trade activity, identify trends, and support decision-making
- Knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes affecting trade operations
- Experience with trade execution support, lifecycle events, and documentation
