Job Summary
As a Middle Office Trading Services Associate in the Currencies and Emerging Markets (CEM) Exotics & Hybrids team, you will support the multi-asset class trading desk by maintaining accurate transaction records in Risk Management Systems, performing intraday and end-of-day reconciliation, supporting new trading activity and book management, and collaborating with Operations and infrastructure to drive process improvements. You will execute controls diligently, communicate effectively with support teams to resolve queries, contribute to strategic initiatives, develop an in-depth understanding of trading structures from both financial and operational perspectives, and ensure high standards of accuracy and ownership across tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a middle office or trade support role
- Technical proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of derivatives and hedging products (Interest Rate Swaps, Basis Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps, Forward Rate Agreements, FX Spot, FX Forwards, FX Options, Bonds, Futures, Repos, CDS)
- Understanding of front-to-back Operations processes (confirmations, settlements, regulatory reporting)
- Familiarity with infrastructure groups (Finance, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Legal, Collateral)
- Experience facilitating issue resolution across teams
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Clear communication skills and ownership
