Job Summary
Trade Support Analyst supporting Prime Finance Trading Services in London. Responsible for ensuring trades are entered accurately into Risk Management systems, managing start-of-day and end-of-day controls, handling equity swap/derivative life cycle events, verifying and escalating trade capture/reporting exceptions, and liaising with Front/MBack/Middle Office teams on Cash Equity trades. Focus on improving pre/post-trade controls, maximizing Straight-Through Processing, and producing analysis for trading desks and senior management. Preferred skills include Alteryx and/or Python experience, with advanced Excel capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Strong security and derivative products knowledge
- Operational experience
- Sound understanding of Equity Swaps, Cash Equities, Derivative products, trading workflows and corporate actions
- Experience in supporting Trading Desks in Prime/ Hedge Fund business
- Familiarity of various risk management systems and an advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent work ethic and the ability to adapt to different business needs
