Job Summary
Monitor the loans throughout their lifecycle, booking the appropriate transactions and reviewing legal documents to ensure accurate input; perform control reconciliations between internal systems to confirm trading positions and analyze breaks; produce management metrics and complete operations projects/requests to support new initiatives and technology enhancements; engage with front office, management, clients and other departments to support clients, resolve issues, and respond to inquiries; liaise with clients regarding loan remittances and invoicing; gain exposure to the mortgage loan life cycle from origination to securitization and collaborate with management and technology on process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree required
- Highly organized, extremely detailed and control orientated
- PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently (self-motivated and demonstrated leadership abilities)
- Effective communication skills with ability to explain loan concepts to clients
